Click “Request” on the row of a song you’d like to hear. You’ll get a confirmation page telling you if your request was successful or not, and if not, why.

Each successful request is delayed by at least one hour.  This keeps us legal with the DMCA (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) so we have no choice about it.  Beyond that, each request must adhere to some rules.  The rules are:

• An artist cannot play any sooner than three (3) hours following their last play.
• Any track cannot play any sooner than four (4) hours following its last play.
• You can make up to twelve (12) requests in a day.
• You cannot make more than four (4) requests per hour.

These rules keep the music from becoming monotonously repetitive, and the request system from being spammed.  They also help us adhere to other DMCA rules as well.  Without doing things by the book, we would face shutdown and that would not do any of us any good.
