Each successful request is delayed by at least one hour. This keeps us legal with the DMCA (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) so we'll have to run with it. Beyond that, each request must adhere to the Artist and Track repeat rules. The rules are that an artist cannot play any sooner than three (3) hours following their last play, and any track cannot play any sooner than four (4) hours following its last play. These rules keep the music from becoming monotonously repetitive, but they also help us adhere to other DMCA rules as well.
